Southern Maine to York Open House
I'm looking into making the road trip to the York Open House in September.
What is the best route to go from Southern Maine to get there?
95 South, 495 South, 290 South, 90 West....................then I'm not sure.
No tolls, no traffic, no hassles...............that's what I'm looking for.

I-90 straight across into NY is a decent ride, down the Taconic State Parkway, across I-84 all the way into PA. There is a single toll on the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge going home, nothing coming west. 209 down through the Poconos, 33 South and then some back roads around Allentown can be a nice ride.

maineultraclassic, Do you have many people going with you? I might be interested in going with you, need to propose it to the wife and see what our schedule is like, but I think it would be a good trip. How many hours does it take to do the trip? I live in southern NH (merrimack, NH).
Are you staying a few nights in york? Do you have reservations? Could you reccomend a hotel for us to call?
