4 State ride
MA-NH-VT-NY-VT-NH-MA
Thanks to Bradley Jones (member I.D.) for the route trip !
I did your trip (sort of) in reverse on Saturday with two friends.
It was a 285 mile loop from Townsend,MA.
Route numbers for the loop.
119(MA/NH)-12(NH)-5(VT)-103(VT)-140(VT/NY)-22a(NY)-22(NY)
-7(NY)-9(VT)-5(VT/NH)-101(NH)-124(NH)-119(MA)
Beautiful day and rt.140 that Bradley recommended but I have never
rode and wanted to try was very nice. Could use some new pavement.
Nice back road 2 lane with quite a few TWISTIES. Rt.22 down through
NY was 55 mph rode the whole stretch except for one or two places
that went through very, very small towns. Otherwise it was like riding
out West .... cornfield after cornfield !
Attached picture is from the VT/NY border just outside of Poultney,VT at Rt.22
I must say one thing thou ....
If you know the roads .....Western NH has just as nice and even better riding.
It made me realize how fortunate we (Lynn & I) are living so close to them !

Sorry it took so FRIGGIN long to post a video.
Can't have ANY copyrighted music in your video's
anymore on youtube. Not even in the background.
I don't think you can even have it if your car/bike/boombox
even if it is playing in the background. What a pain in the **** !
The video starts on rt.103 in VT and rt.140 in VT clip starts
at the 3:30 min mark and the last video clip is rt.22 in NY

Hey, save some riding time for when I get back! I'm looking forward to meeting and it's great that you ride out in my area all the time!
I don't think that biker waved at 1:49...I also want to know how you covered 4 states in only 4:34 minutes...What you got under that tank???

I only did video up in VT & NY because I am ALWAYS in Southwestern NH.
I got PLENTY of video of riding in NH !
Actually I think there are some earlier vid's on my YouTube video page.
Just click on the tab that says more Skullhuntor video's.
Jake we ride all the time. Last night (after riding to work in Boston and back) we
rode up to Kimball's in Jaffery (50 mile loop). So if it is nice out (no rain in forecast)
and you want to ride you know how to contact me.
Just be ready to ride .... LOL ....
We are not bar hoppers, one reason is we do not drink and when
I have the pleasure of riding, THAT is what I intend to do !
Summer's here are short enough as it is and I would rather spend it on the bike.
Since your in Winchie and Rt.12 is right there and it is a NICE ride out to Keene from
there. I would say get ready to leave from your area up to Keene and then take
Rt.10 North up to Rt.31 South through Pillsbury State forest and then Rt.202
OR go past Rt.31 and head over to Lake Sunapee and then back. Just let me
know how far a loop you want. Takes about a half hour or so to get out your
way and then spending some time meeting/greeting that a starting ride time
to ride would be by 10:30am. I got software at home that it takes only a
few minutes to give me mileage.

I'm getting antsy to get out of here. I've now been here for 39 months and as of tomorrow a.m., I have 3 days and a wake up left!
