Central MA-Random Bike Checkpoint!
#14
You cannot miss it ! BIG lot along the road (I'd say atleast 100+ feet) and
his shack sets about 30 feet from the road. Usually has chairs and tables
set out front. Dink *** bar and wide screen inside and a crappy *** bathroom.
He is a real peice of work !

Another thing to add:
Wednesday night from 5-8PM at the Pub 140 is Bike Night (see their website link below).
Geez, I wonder if that had anything to do with the decision to setup this checkpoint on a Wednesday night......at 5PM.....

The MA Motorcycle Association has now addressed the Sterling incident (as well as other towns) on their website. Here's is the link to the article:

It seems alot of folks ticketed, contacted the MMA on this. Thanks to the MMA for their support of MA Biker's Rights.

Very proactive--good post--no rants just GOOD SOLID information.
There is a minor blitz up here going on about noisy pipes--the current by law has a proviso that the sound can be "judged" by an officer based on his opinion. BUT the bylaw also says the sound( exhaust system ) must be tested in a laboratory--so getting a ticket on an officers opinion is just that an opinion and can be argued in court, with good results--also required is the officers latest hearing test, dated before the citation. I carry a copy of the bylaw in my wallet--just in case.
