We are planning a ride to the Grand Canyon of Pa and are looking to stay over. We were looking at renting a cabin at the Terrace Motel in Wellsboro Pa Has anyone stayed there before? Pictures show bikes in the parking lot and looks like they are biker friendly. They have fully loaded cabins at a reasonable rate but wanted to see if any one has any horror stories about the place. Any info or suggestions for other places in that area will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help

 

I would recomend Wests in mansfield..

 

I have never styed over but know of people who have. They said the cabins are great, not sure where they rented the cabin.

Just finished a 1200 mile run and took route 6 from Scranton to the Allegheny National Forest. Didn't stay in the Wellsboro area so can't comment on staying there. Overall from a riding perspective I was unimpressed with the entire route 6 and especially the "Grand Canyon". So we decided to return east via another route and we chose route 120 from St. Mary's to Lock Haven (recommended by another forum member) and found it to be a great ride. The scenery was head and shoulders above anything we saw on route 6 and the roads were great, less traffic, nice sweepers and a few twisties thrown in for good measure.
Not sure of your overall plan but would highly recommend trying it if you can. You can take 144 south to 120 and go either way. Enjoy the ride..........
