I think the ride down was worse than the ride up. You just have to leave it in 1st or 2nd if you dare. I stopped a couple of times on the way down at the rest area's. Just wanted to make sure nothing was over heating. It's not bad on bike day (Thursday I think) there plenty of road for both. Could be a little more interesting when cars can go up and down.

This map has info in it that could help you plan your week....

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...624ed0e48d2d03

You may have to copy and paste it because for some reason it doesnt seem HDF isn't turning the long URL into a link?

There are beer tents and clubs in the area, the best watering hole is The Broken Spoke just Noth of the Weirs on Rt. 3. There is no drinking in public anymore. As far as cops go, they seem to sent all the rookies and female cops with something to prove, just use your head and have a good time.

I should mention that at the hill climb at Gunstock you can bring beer or whatever and walk around with it.

Usually police all around the Broken Spoke. Got to be careful. I remember in 07 they had a sobriety check point 1/2 mile from the Broken Spoke.
