WE are heading out around 9am to go to Bentley's in Maine. Just seeing if anyone else will be in the area.

 

Did you do the ride from York VFW to Bentley's...I was quite impressed with the Number of Bikes.....I wish I knew about it? Bummed... Here's a Pic ...I stopped and let my Boy watch all the bikes go by....

 

We got a late start. Didn't get up there till 2. Was a great weekend of riding! We are definitely planning a lot more rides up to bentleys this summer. I

 

Wish I would have read this earlier Mike, I probably would have went you guys! Heard it's a good time up there. How far from Boston does it take you? Add me as a buddy & let me know when your going again. The wife & I both have next weekend off if you end up going again let me know.

Have been to Bentley's twice ....and each visit I was basically
ignored as I wasn't consuming alcoholis beverages.
Both visits were on a Saturday early afternoon.....

Hopefully your visits are better than mine

 

So is it worth going up there or is it just another bar with a bunch of a*sholes?

 

I honestly didn't like the looks of it when I pulled in. There was like hundreds of bikes there and the place is pretty big. It all emptys into a coral that reminded me of a prison yard. I don't really like to drink when riding but I will drink one or two beers if I have time. There was really no service to complain about, they have a lady in the middle of the yards selling beers and the food line was cafeteria style. Other than a bunch of bikers and a pretty bad cover band there wasn't anything to do there. I wish they had a wet tshirt contest or bikini deal going on.

 

I will be heading up there soon. I was going to try and get up there Sat and spend the night and leave Sun morning but plans didn't work out. When I go I plan on camping right at the campground.

 

Let us know when youre going. Maybe soos will make the trip too. I won't be camping there but I would come up for the day.
