Rode in Southern NH on Sunday
Boy Mother Nature is so CRUEL !
60 degrees one day and then the next day 6" of wet heavy snow ...
Rode from Pepperell up thru Hollis, Milford, Wilton, Peterborough,
Jaffery, New Ipswich then home. A nice 84 mile first ride of the season !
Rt's 121, 101, 136, 202, 119

Way to go dude!
My street is a popular throughway on sundays with bikes, and I must have heard at least 10 bikes ride by Sunday.
As soon as my front yard dries out (friggin thick sloppy mud/grass right now), I will go for a ride myself! I keep my bike in my shed, couldn't afford a Harley and a garage so I built a 14'X20' shed instead....

It was GREAT !
Expecially Rt.31 thru Wilton with the river running along side of it.
It had ice & snow capped on the rocks with the river running thru it.
I just wore my top & bottom long johns, levi's, fleece top, my bike
jacket with it's liner and my new carbon fiber half-helmet.
Don't forget that I ride an Ultra so I don't get the wind blast like
a non fairing bike. There was hardly any wind so we didn't even have
to stop at the Dunkin Donuts on rt.202 just North of Peterboro center
for a cup of hot cocoa. I had to get the ride in because I go for surgery
on my left knee tomorrow and I am not sure how long before I will get
to ride next. I have a torn minuscus and they told me 4 to 6 weeks
before full weight can be applied.

This is the first year that I never got an opportunity to ride at least once during the winter. I have been socked in with consistant snows since early December. The sun gets a little warmer, and the days get a little more sun duration, so i'm hangin' in there until all the snow and salt is gone!
