If you're on rt 30 at the Mountain House and have time for a long ride on some great country roads, take the road right across from the bar and head north through Cowan's Gap State Park. After the park, jump on rt. 522 N and ride it till you see rt. 475 toward Hustontown. Catch rt. 655 N at Hustontown and ride up through Belleville to rt. 322 E. Take 322 to rt. 144, then to rt. 26 and head to Pleasant Gap. You'll be ready for another beer at Pleasant Gap so make a right on 26 and go up to the Roadhouse Bar on the left (bike night on wednesdays). Get back out on 26 and go south through State College to rt 45 and jump back on rt. 26 at Pine Grove Mills. You'll ride 26 through Huntingdon, then on down to Hopewell for a stop at Lisa's right before the bridge across the river. After a few at Lisa's, go across the bridge on rt. 915 and ride that back to rt. 30 E.
