Anyone familiar with this place? I drove past it looks like a biker bar at the top of a mountain. Looks like a goor ride through Lancaster, Gettysburg then through Chambersburg from S Jersey.

 

YES, Mountaintop is killer in the sprong and Summer....We ride there all the time, stop in and watch ythe cute girls in the outfit/chaps with cold brewkies....Alson out the bottem of the hill take a left, down the road on the right is the NEW STANTON American Legion. We do this Poker run on Scottys's rife fund raiser. Then to Bobby's A's in Coldonis, Pa. Go up and I'll meet you up there and go for a ride? Ride safe you hear....D

 

I get there a couple times a year... and it looks like I could be headed up there tomorrow.

 

The Mountain House is a great bar to stop at for a cold one and something to eat. If you're lucky, you'll get to watch hang gliders taking off from their ramp while you're there (see Dug's pic). The view from their deck is fantastic on a clear day too. And Dug's right about the babes... They always look good in their chaps but my fondest memory was Luau day during Gettysburg bike week a few years ago. Wow.... The one thing that's missing now is their ABATE parties. They used to have some really good classic rock bands on the deck but as usual, some a$$hole moved in across the road and started bitchin' about the noise !
