Rt 7 in Connecticut is real nice if it works with your plans, western part of the state.

Route 32 (starts in the SE part of the state in New London) North to Route 203 East to Route 14 East through Scotland.&nbsp\\; Those together are a really nice ride and 14 takes you to 395 North which takes you to the Mass Pike.

when you get to maine, if you go up along coastal route 1, you should stop and check out http://www.bentleyssaloon.com/Events/events.htm
&nbsp\\;
one of the best biker bars in new england.
&nbsp\\;
cold beer, decent food, live music, and vintage bikes hanging from the rafters.

If you are going near the coast from Mass. into NH I would suggest the coastal road 1A it's the bomb for viewing the ocean as you ride.

As said before, Route 1 is scenic with lots of small coastal towns.
Along with the small towns come yard sales and flea markets, so be aware
of people darting across the roads to buy other peoples junk.

Plenty of local restaurants and pub/taverns to sample the local foods and beverages..
If you are staying near Bar Harbor, I'd suggest watching the sunrise some morning
from the top of Cadillac.

Enjoy your trip and travel safe

I have to agree with MaineGroundHog

Been riding and traveling for almost 40 yrs, the two most beautiful things I've ever seen are a sunrise from atop Mt Cadillac and a sunset in Monument Valley Utah. Both views I'll never forget
