Mass. and NH police are everywhere this weekend so everyone be careful,was told that because most hi-ways are being repaired people are taken the back roads to laconia and local cops are on the look out,and salem nh had a crash thurs. night that ended with a death.Just warning people to watch their speed no reason for a stupid ticket.

 

on 6/13/08&nbsp\\; about 2 in the afternoon coming up 495 north I saw the 2Hells Angles pulled over with about 5 MA state officer around them&nbsp\\; even dot and a bike officer I was in the work&nbsp\\; frieghtliner..
&nbsp\\;later that night I was on my roadking&nbsp\\; on&nbsp\\; 93 watching&nbsp\\; state police pulling over groups of bikes for Id checks

Just an FYI if youre coming to NH.
If you have ape hangers and your hands are higher than your shoulders when sitting on the bike, you WILL be ticketed.

 

I feel that there is a difference between Ma cops and NH cops.
Briefly, NH cops act more professional and are not out to roust you.
Ma cops seem to want to up the anty on you.
If stopped in NH for an obvious infractionFESS UP and BE POLITE.
Chances are you will get it over with much easier and softer.

Hmmm...yes and no. I have a place in Wells Maine and go thru NH every weekend during the summer. I get stopped constantly by the NH troopers. They hide behind bridge abutments and peek out with the radar guns.&nbsp\\; I never get stopped on 495 in Mass.&nbsp\\; For me, the NH guys harass me - the MA guys dont even bother me.
And, being a retired LEO I am ALWAYS polite when stopped.
