State Police to check motorcycles ahead of Americade

damn cops try to kill all our fun....lol. I guess its good for making people be safe though

 

Actually.... It's a great way to generate revenue for the county..... f@##$$%^% beuracracy is what it is.
Well, my brain bucket's legit, but my pipes ain't.... easy on the throttle. Question from LEO : "Do you know why we're standing out here today?" Answer: I don't know, to break bawlz and make people's lives difficult?

 

...not to mention this will probably be my fifth ticket for runnin straits..... CHRIST ALMIGHTY!!! I'm going anyways.

 

Too many god damn rules My pipes are loud and my helmet is a novelty. I'll stick with new hampshire where helmets are not needed and loud pipes are not legal but they still don't issue tickets unless your being a tool about it.

 

I was in the Albany area checking out H-D dealers and rolled up to Lake George and walked around for a couple hours today. There were no check points when I passed thru during the afternoon. Only a few radar traps which is kinda usual.

Town had a nice crowd. Main street was loaded with bikes. Weather was the best it may be all week. Witnessed no police action though they were present.

 

Might shoot down today if the rain holds out (only about 55 miles south of me). Also might be staying down there Friday night. Lake George is a nice area and its great to see all the bikes around. Last year at night it was starting to get a little wild, reminded me of Laconia in the mid 90's.

 

Don't go to Americade by way of I-87 on the weekend. All bikes must pull off at therest area just before exit 17 (same thing going south) they're checking everything and handing out tickets like candy on Halloween! They're also stopping bikes on Route 9 just north of Glens Falls NY... Best routes are: from south, running parallel with the Hudson River... 22 north, 32 north and 4 north and pick up 149 in Fort Annthen head west to Lake George... If coming up I-87, get off at Saratoga Springs, take route 50 south into Saratoga and pick up Route 9-N north into Corinth then stay on 9-N North/East into Lake George... All are good roads and less traffic/cops (keep your eyes open for deer!

Are they really pulling over Every bike??? Or just us loud ones?

 

Every bike going north and south on I-87 (AKA-The Adirondack Northway) this past weekend and this coming weekend (June 7 & 8) and randomly throughout the week. No warnings... only tickets!
