RE: MD Riders
I have crossed the Bay Bridge many many times, not a problem. No different than the roads you travel on....concrete. Wind is no different than any other road. I have crossed it a couple of times in the rain...little more interesting. Stay off the grid lanes, left lane west bound. Crossing the bridge is the beginning of a great ride going eastbound. Stop in at the Red Eye Dock Bar.....great place. Bikini contest on Sunday in the summer.

I was thinking of following my family to the beach on the bike this year. It will probably sit most of the time once we are there. But the ride down sounds great! A couple of friends of mine have told me that the Red Eye is a good place to go. Never have been there. Beer and Babes? Better take the truck!

And, how about the Key Bridge on the outer Beltway. It gets closed regularly because of high wind.

Totally agree about rain though. Came across several times in a heavy downpour. Not fun at all.
