Default diners, drive ins and dives

When I am out riding I like stopping in those type of places. This riding season I porbably will be riding in the Western Mass, CT and Northern NY areas. I am looking good places to stop and eat. Any suggestions??

If I wanted that info I would go to his site. I want to know where real people go.

Also thank you to everyone who has named a good place to eat. I will have to check them out this season.

Ok, kinda depends on what sort of food you're looking for, but here's a couple in western Mass...........on rt 2 (The Mohawk Trail) in Shelburne, about 6 miles west of Greenfield is a place called "Mohawk Diner" it's on the left in the "Arrowhead Shops" and is excellent for breakfast and lunch.....open early, closes at 2 pm. Excellent food decent prices, friendly staff. Mike owns the place and he likes to visit with people.........usually very busy on the week ends though.

Farther west, up on the Hairpin Turn..........I think it's called the Golden Eagle. Another great place. Nice view, decent food/prices, friendly towards bikers. During the summer months they have an outside deck that's nice. There's more, but those 2 stand out I'd say. Have fun!

+1 on Carl's Oxford Diner Main St Oxford Ma

I've had a great breakfast there, homemade, and there was enough food for 2.
After you eat there, you may need to adjust the preload on your shocks

In Western MA, I forgot Nick's Nest - the best hotdogs on the plant.
I have been going there for 40 years.
