Default wvmountainfest

some were asking about mountain fest a while back they a a new web site up check it out www.wvmountainfest.com keeps getting bigger and bigger we stay at the waterfront hotel and have a great time ever year. dates are on site lot of new things this year

I'm 25 miles away,I go every yearI have offered this before,I don't own a castle or even close but if any of ya' all ever need a place to pup a tent,my yard and a couple of my buds in my patch have no problems with people staying to save some loot.

It's a pretty cool event - went last year. Only downer was seeing "Blue Oyster Cult". Nobody in that band was old enough to be walking when the real band was around, and they didn't sound too hot.

I missed BOC there but did catch them with Skynyrd in Pitt. and they looked old enuff[8D]

The ones at Mountainfest were in their 20's for the most part. They weren't even a twinkle in Eric Bloom or Buck Dharma's eye when those two (in theory the last two original members of BOC remaining) started with the band. It sure didn't look to me that either Eric or Buck were at Mountainfest. I was (for a short time) within spitting distance of the stage.
