PA to Skyline Drive- MAY 2-4

RE: PA to Skyline Drive- MAY 2-4
It's a damn nice ride for sure.Lot's of scenery, plenty of pull-offs, and tons of twisties. The speed limit is 35 mph, which is why it takes so long. I've pressed and made it 2-1/2, but that was arelatively ranger free ride. And while exceeeding the limit 5-10 mph seems to be ok with most rangers, anything more than that they'll bag ya. I've also heard that the rangers will be enforcing stricter this year due to numerous complaints last year.
If you decide to do it, let me know and I join up with you. Only 45 mins to an hour from Front Royal here.

RE: PA to Skyline Drive- MAY 2-4
I was watching the other thread on this topic to see how it would materialize.
It's been about 15 years since I've done the Skyline Drive run. If memory serves me, its a really nice run.
The original weekend of the 16th-18th would have worked better for me, but I'd be willing to consider another date.
Count me in when everyone decides on a date.
