I also have been on the bike every month but 2. Just watch out for all the marbles on the road!

Just put an extra pair of long johns on and go for it. Ride as long as your eyes dont freeze shut and your hand get stuck to hand grips.[:-]

Take a look atthe faces of people in a cages when you are riding and its cold out. You know that some of them are saying to themselves I wish I was out on my bike".

I know it is not as cold here in NJ but I have been riding since december when I got the bike 1100 miles and counting. I rode to work 11 of the 14 times for the month of march. The people at work think I am nuts. The coldest of days is when it is about 25* when I leave in the morning. But 45* in the afternoon makes it worth it. I don't know what the temp was today but it was too windy I really shouldn't have riden since I didn't feel comfortable on the way home. I felt like I was on an out of control roller coaster. I was leaning to my left at one point so far that had the wind just STOPPED I would have riden across the other lane and off the road. 25 mph winds with gusts to 40 I imagine.

I wish it was that easy, the salt gets up where you can't get at it or you push it in farther. Even with a pressure washer.

Here in Wisconsin I follow these rules
If I have to stop at the end of the driveway to let the snow plow go by ,put the bike back in the garage.
If the guy downthe road is warming up his snowmobel, put the bike backin the garage.

agreed. i wish salt just washed off. im not willing to sacrifice parts on my bike for being impatient. i usually wait until i cant see white on the roads. then its go time
