Default Laconia '08...where to stay?

Hey guys,
Lookin' to hear where you guys recommend staying for Laconia? I plan on going up there with my wife (ridin' from MA) & stayin' 2 nights (17th & 18th of June). Don't want to pay anymore than $175/night. It'd be nice to have a place with a pool or jacuzzi/hot tub...ect? I'd like to also avoid staying right in the Weirs Beach area, but not more than 30-40 mins away from it either. Can you guys recommend some different places that maybe you've stayed at? Thanks!
Ian

I stay at the NorthConwaygrandhotel.com but it is abotu an hour from Weir's beach. It is in Conway, right in the white mountains, 5 mins from the kancamungus hwy (not sure of the spelling). They have rooms in that price range with ajacuzzi.

Like XXX said, NorthConway; Schoolhouse Inn $85 a night, then a little ride to Weir's beach.

Your better off away than near. I am staing in North Conway this year . Every year I go I seem to get further and further from Weirs Beach. Where ever you decide...you better hurry up....the clock is ticking and the rates are going up.

Mandog

We stay in Lincoln NH every year. Spend a day or 2 in Lacoina, and the rest of the time riding in the mountains. Here is a link to a great place to stay. The Nordic Inn has 1 & 2 bedroom condo's in your price range. And it is right at the beginning of the Kancamagus Scenic Highway.
Me and my BETTER HALF will be there 6/18-6/22.
