I used to go to bike night at Nathan's way back whenI was in high school. It's been almost thirty years, and ifI remember correctly it is located in Oceanside. Is it still going on there? What are some other bike nights / eventsin the Long Island area?

 

Nathans is located in Coney Island. Any storefront in Oceanside that sells Nathans hotdogs is just that ...

 

You're referring to the one on Long Beach Road, in Oceanside.. Yep... during the summer bikes still gather there Tuesday nights, but it's not what it used to be.

 

It's all but gone now.Fri nights at the Bellmore train station.Sun at Jugs & Strokers.

 

Duringthe summer months Oak Beach between 8:00 to 12:00. Cars and bikes... always a nice Sunday morning ride.

 

I used to go to nathans in oceanside every tuesday night i graduated Oceanside high school in 74 ... There used to be alot of bikes there... The police shut it down a few times and in time started hassleing the bikers and it gradually died down.
My father and i used to do work for nathan Handwerker ( He owned Nathans he loved the Oceanside store as much as the the one in brooklyn.... I have not been to nathans in a few years so im not sure how it is now... I used to go with my brother-in-law he was in a 1% biker club and was not wellcome there...
