I was staying at the Margate and talked to a couple of guys that went to Maine for lobstah dinnah and generally was riding all over the area. One of them had a bike that looked a great deal like yours.

Stayed in Gorham NH.. Motel with a restaurant. Good food. Only 39.00 a night. Great riding all over the area.Night before stayed in Woodstock, just off 93. Some good home brew in a tavern started with a T. right in town.

First time I did the Kang was July 1976. I remember because a buddy and I then went up to Bar Harbor, sat on our bikes and watched the fireworks for the 200th July 4th. It was great. The next day we took the ferry across to Nova Scotia. The last time I did the Kang was in 2001, but I remember it needing some work. Seems like it had patches all over making it very unsmooth.
