damm this is a real loss, and i'm sitting here totally stunned. i was outta the state for a while, and did not know he passed. ijust talked to gary last week, he was doing better and in typical gary fasion he was always in great spirits, and always lookin at the bright side of life. although i only had the privlage to know gary for a few months he madea major impact on my life, taught me to live life, and not to let things get you down. gary always called to see what i had done if any to the bike, and always!! offering a hand if i needed it. i will always remember gary, and keep him in my thoughts and prayers. a great friend lost to us all but a greater insperation to always smile and live life and love life. god speeed my friend

I've been thinking about this since I heard about Gary's passing. I think Gary had such a positive attitude that none of us had any idea it was as serious as it was. I think we all thought he was getting better and that we were no where near the point where we needed to say goodbye. I know I would have been by last week or over the weekend, regardless of what was going on and I'm sure a lot of the other guys felt the same. I would much have preferred to see him and chat rides and mods with him.

Maybe it's the way Gary wanted it ...

Brett, you are as stunned as the rest of us. When Joe and i visited him at home 2 weeks ago, i thought he looked good and carried such a positive attitude that he wasgoing to be with us for a while and there was no need to say goodbye that day. Now looking back i wish i had stopped by more often. As Steve said Gary was always so positive it was easy to forget just how sick he really was. I think he believed he was going to recover and ride his Harley and his bicycle again. We lost a good man, but now his is at peace and riding with the man above.

You guys are saying the same thing I was thinking the last time I saw Gary. Matter of fact, the last thing I said to him as I pulled out of driveway was...."We'll be out for a ride in a couple weeks buddy!" And I swear to God...I absolutely believed it. That sure says alot about his attitude and how it rubbed off on the people around him.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all their prayers and support and for all of those who I had the good fortune of meeting, and those who were able to come and support us as we said good bye to our friend, our father, our brother, our son and mostly my beloved husband, Gary a.k.a Nitetrain.
Thank you All
Love

You are all a great group of people to remember a friend and memorialize him this way. You've given Gary as good a send off as anyonecan get in this life. We meet very few people that we can truly call friends.
My condolences to his family.
