RE: Sad day for NJ HD forum riders - RIP Gary - Nitetrain
A number of us went to Gary's funeral last night. I'm very proud that we're not just a group that rides on Sunday together - we showed up on Tuesday night for Gary, a wonderful friend lost.
Tom (TJS), John (Blueshift), Bill and Faith (Maxxcat), Dennis (CycleDRider), Todd (Verniculum), Jay from Pa and Joe F were there (hope I didn't forget anyone). Whoever could ride did and the rest of us caged from work. Gary's brother Bruce spoke and broke me up when he talked about how avid a motorcycler Gary was and that the guys he rode with all were here to show their respect.
We'll be organizing a ride in honor of Gary and would like to have as many people there as possible. Gary's brother Bruce, who many of us have ridden with on his Deuce, and Bruce's son would like to join us.

I to am sorry that I could not make it. My brother Steve (Nine11C2) was there.
I know what Gary's family was going through, my wife is also a cancer patient. She has been fighting Non Hodkins Lymfoma sine 1998.
I feel for his family and I hope they can heal and be at peace. Out thoughts and prayers go out to all of them.
Gary was a great man.

You could send a letter with a picture (if possible) to Biker Magazine. They have a memorial page at the back of each edition for the riders that have passed on before the rest of us. Let the readers know what Gary was all about and how he will be missed by his family and friends.
