What happened in Killington ?
We ran up to Killington for this classic ride on Saturday...Great ride out of Brattleboro on rt 30 to 35 to 103 to 100...but maybe only saw a hundred bikes or so. When we stopped for food, the diners were telling us that nobody showed up..is this true? Did we miss the other riders? In Killington we saw maybe 10 bikes in the bike show and only a few dozen in assorted parking lots. Great ride and all but was wondering about the turnout. On the plus side..we saw moose!!!! Well moose as in singular..but still something new!

RE: What happened in Killington ?
We rode up Friday and got to Killington just before the ride started into Rutland. There seemed to be alot of bikes in the parade which extended down most of the access road. The block party in Rutland had a few thousand bikes. Went back to Killington but there wasn't much going on inmost of the bars or restaurants.
Although the turnout seemed a littlelow to me (this was thefirst year I went)I still had a great time. Really enjoyed the riding up and back from Southeastern MA. With the exception of a small 5 mile stretch of RT 89 (RT 10) heading south we did 450 miles of backroads which was two full days of pure enjoyment.

We had a group of 10 bikes and 18 people go up Thur-Sat. Nice time but honestly the vendor area was lame, the parade was good, but we watched it this year insted of riding in it. The state fair was fun on Friday night. I heard the showing was lower then last year. We made our own rides logging almost 700 miles for the 4 days we were there. Sunday kinda sucked as we hit rain for a good part of our ride back to Connecticut.

RE: What happened in Killington ?
We went up on the Saturday before the rally. Rode about 1,500 miles for the week. Opening cermonies did not look to have allot of people several empty or half filled tables. Entertainment was really good.
We did one of the half day tours (Waterfall) there were about 40 bikes. Most of the time there we did not see that many people at the rally. The vendor area was really lame not much there, earlier years were better. We went to NH & NY and ran into people that were at the rally but out riding on their own like we were.
Went home on Saturday to avoid the rain on Sunday It was a good time but all of us thought the last time we went (2004) there were more people.
