I had a great time!
Love the ride to Coopers Town although it was scary at times with some "other" riders.
At one point as I was driving down a hill I could see the front of the line going up another hill way in the distance. Very cool.
Almost got stuck in the hail storm on the way back but found shelter under some country fueling station.
Ok bike show. Met up with people I met at the VT/NH Rally last year. That was a surprise.
Over all a A+ weekend. Can't wait until next year.

 

I rode up for the day on Friday and have decided that a one day is not the way to go. Most of the interesting stuff goes on in the evening or early morning when everyone is setting up for local rides. During the day the place is kind of dead, although riding up the ski lift in the rain was pretty good, suspended 80 feel off the ground and watching lightning in the distance.

 

I rode up Friday morning. Missed the planned rides so ventured out on my own. My inlaws live about 12 miles from Hunter so Iknew my way around. I was diappointed a bit that not many people were at the lodge at night. Stayed there a while and watched a pie eating contest...

Saturday daythere were many more bikes at the mountain.

Stopped at the WaterFall Bar near Prattsville. Seems to be a cool biker hangout.

 

spent 4 days there!!!!wasnt long enuff!! fantastic!
meeting people year after year is only getting better!!!
its a whole experience ,, gotta do it start to finish!!


PIE contest,,,,, was ME.... the one with the whipped cream "war paint" cheater!!! was fun!!!

 

my first rally. much fun. next year at Niagra Falls FYI so start plannin' now. . . .thats 6 hours to get there fer me. . . . . ouch my poor azz.

We were there too.

Rented a Bed&Breakfast about 2 miles down the road. Had a great time.

Took the group ride to Copperstown, got caught in the rain on the way back, and took the group ride Spitzie's Dealership.

Noticed the HDForums sign in the main lobby on the last day!!!

We all thought the Rally was well planned and executed and will probably go again next year.

Oh well,, each State has 1 every year,,
next time open up a little more on the forums and lets meet!!
I ran into Nick and his diva,,,, That was worth my hard earned money alone!!!
Only regret not being able to spend more time with him!!!

and I guess NY's Rally next year is Niagara Falls, 6 hours for me also,,,
Hint,,,during winter, decide,,+ book as soon as registration opens!!!!! can always cancel

We literally decided to go to the Rally the night before.

Were lucky to get accommodations - the Bed & Breakfst was closed for the season, but the owner opened it for us since we rented all 5 rooms and she saw the chanc to get some easy $.

Would have liked to meet upwith the HDForum folks, but it was a last minute deal.
