Hey Intruder,
I'm still debating on going or not. Last year was a HUGE turnout I don't like really big crowds to begin with, and from what I saw last year, there were several idiots doing very unsafe things while in formation. I might just watch the crowd go by from Oak Beach, or hang out at Captree.

I will pass on this one. I went last year and I did not enjoy the ride at all. Too many bikes and riding LIE is boring. I might however ride the Freedom Ride again next week that rides into the city with the police escort.
Rogue13, I think people are riding into Oak Beach again because they started charging for parking at Oak Beach.
If I get my rear tire changed by Sunday maybe we can meet at Oak Beach and watch the bikes go by.

Steve - I would like to think a bunch of riders pulled the guy out of the truck and beat the crap out of him. (Rant over - I hate hearing stuff like that).
Arnold - I usually go by Oak Beach at least once per week (I enjoy the solitude). Sometimes the gates to the parking lot are open, sometimes they're closed. The residents are trying to force the Sunday hot rod/biker crowd out of there. Everyone currently meets at Captree, which is not charging to get in (yet - I think they start Memorial day weekend - I think they start collecting tolls at 8:00AM.). Most of us get there before 8 anyway. Hope to see you there - keep any eye out for the scoot.

Joe-I was at Captree last Saturday around 1pm and they are there collecting the money. I turned around and went to Oak Beach. So I hope to see you there on Sunday. It will not be hard to see your bike
Steve-Yeah so far I am averaging one rear tire a year which is a good thing. I hope you and your family are doing well and enjoy the ride on Sunday.

I got my own crap to do around the house! - which is why I really don't mind a rainy Saturday once in a while. If it wasn't forrainy Saturdays, nothing would get done at my house. I'm still hoping the idiot weather guy is wrong about Sunday, and if so, I'll be at Captree Sunday morning.
