There is a great shop in Nassau County Long Island that does top notch work, without traffic would be a daily short drive to know your getting it done right, place is Action Powdercoating, definitely shouldn't cost $800 for 2 rims unless your looking to do some crazy combinations/custom PC work

Surprised because Steve has a color chart and was spot on anything I've sent to him. Really shocked he would've let you walk away unhappy...

Not that i wasn't unhappy, i was happy, and still use his services for a bunch of things.

I should have said i am looking for the smooth as glass texture. I want it to look just like paint. I have gotten some stuff done at sumax and while they charge A LOT, their work is nice. I dont like the orange peel look at all. Tried another forum sponsor here and was really disappointed.

Gotcha. But I had my belt drive stuff done and there was no orange peel whatsoever. Maybe he didn't prep it right....

And the Forum sponsor if I'm thinking of the correct one, did a couple of items for a buddy of mine and did a perfect like glass job.

Shiny don't get you home...lol

Just have to do my rear fender to match now. A good sanding and a couple of layers of rattle can Plasti Dip from Lowes and the tanks came out awesome along with the dash! Total of 10 bux and completely no maintenance!
