Marcus is gone, we all know that, but I've found no place where everyone is meeting up. Me and a pal went to the BBQ in Brookfield, no one. I heard the diner on Rt 6 in Bethel, no one. couple friends said they'd be out, but didn't happen. We took and good 100 mile ride anyway. But we need another place in the area where everyone meets and then gets together for a ride. I know you can't duplicate Marcus, but there should be a place to go where everyone can either hang, coffee, or set up a ride.

 

There is Kent Falls. You can get coffee at the coffee shop in the town center. The coffee shop is very biker friendly. Then ride to the falls. Large parking lot and open bathroom. And Rt 7 is a nice ride.

 

I'm just over the border in NY, and ride through there just about every weekend... I usually stop at the coffee shop on the way home, I stay away from the falls during the summer, they charge u $10 to get in even if ur there for 5 minutes...

 

Someone here was discussing The Red Rooster on 22 in Brewster for a new meeting spot or the Home Depot lot at 312 and 84.

 

Ok, a couple miles futher up from Kent Falls on Rt7 is housitonic Meadows. The south half of the park has a large lot with tables,grills, and bathroom. Right next to the river. And it is free. What do you think.

 

It wouldn't get any support from anyone nearby in CT due to the helmet thing...

 

I was told when Marcus closed the first time 3 years ago for a short time. People were meeting at West Conn Across from Stop and Shop RT6 Danbury Conn.
