Trying to figure out if this is true, we had a ride planned in S. Jersey this weekend with our usual mandatory stop at the Hedger House. I went on their website and it looks like the place is up for sale and no one answered when I called their number. Anybody have any details???

 

Wow that sucks if it's true, I was planing a ride there next weekend.

grizzwold, where are you at the jersey shore, I'm in Cape May Court House.

 

This place is still open. I drove by last Saturday it was packed with bikes.

 

Cool. Gonna head to the Lower Bank Tavern for lunch with some friends on Sunday, we were looking forward to going to the Hedger House for a drink afterwards. The place is still for sale though so I wouldn't be surprised if it does close during a change of ownership.

Just an update. As boohoo posted, Hedger House is open. Stopped by yesterday on the way home from lunch at the Lower Bank Tavern (great place BTW). Great time as usual! The riding was great and the weather was perfect, a little overcast which kept the temps right around 70 degrees. Best time of year for riding in this area IMHO.

 

Yeah it's open. It's been under new ownership for atleast a year now. I knew the last owner

 

Well I hope someone chats with the new owners to tell them to update their website. Doesn't help when it still states their for sale. They should edit it to say "We're Still Open!"
