Default Mrytle Beach 2010

Hey guys.. The season is quickly upon us, and as it stands, im already biting at the Bit to get on my ride and go..

Last year was a lil unsettled so no plans were made and i did local events..

Not!!!, i repeat, NOT!!! this year...

My first plan of action is to Storm Myrtle Beach 5/6-through 5/17.
2009-><-2010

Im already going with a few coworkers, but im laying this out here in the event anyone else is going and wanted to just ride in a pack.

The route is not settled nor the time frames and the lay overs if any.

If anyone is interested, feel free to chime in..
If anyone has any ideas of on the road stops or lay overs, by all means throw that in too.

This is my first road trip on my scoot. and im completely in a frenzy about it.

See you on the road 2010

I can Imagine.. I heard a lot of Negativity surrounding MB. But I've never been there during bike Week. Always in a Car and always outside of those weeks.

Let em' Boycott.

I did Myrtle Beach Bike week back in 2004. Unfortunately, my buddy got the wrong week planned and we ended up there during National Black Biker Week. BOY did I feel like an ***. It reminded me of the scene in the movie Police Academy when they accidentally walk into the Blue Oyster bar.

If you ride through Myrtle Beach City limits, make sure your pipes are quiet and your wearing a DOT helmet....

I read that in the community Bulletins on Myrtle Beach.

Amazing what some complain about.. Wanna get a laugh, look at the crime stats. They got bigger problems than Bikers and their loud pipes. They have a huge immigrant population that seems to just Muck up the town.

I went there in the spring 2 years ago. It was pretty cool, the riding wasn't so great but the gathering places and the people were cool and luckily most of the good places are out of MB City limits, so if you don't wear a helmet or have loud pipes etc... you can just ride the long way around MB to get to North MB or Murrells Inlet...

From New york, chances are ill take scenic 17 south over the Chesapeake, down through North Carolina or straight through 95. Still debating the route.
