Being 50 miles south of Americade i have been going for years. Going to Laconia for the first time this year. Hope it doesn't get to crazy. I've been out of the party scene for to long.

 

Wear a legal helmet, updated reg (and inspection for NY residents), avoid burn outs and over-throttling in traffic and you will be fine.

The crowds definitely like to egg you on while stopped in traffic in front of the bars. It can be fun, but I saw some kid flip his rice rocket burning out on the strip and aside from the damage (plastic parts all over the place) got hauled away in the cop car.

 

I'm heading up there (Americade) tomorrow. We're staying until saturday. I'll be the bald guy, black leather jacket, with the Harley.

Going up tomorrow just for the afternoon & then back for Friday & Saturday. I'll look for ya'. You shouldn't be to hard to find, i.e. how many bald headed leather jacket Harley guys can their be up there...? LOL

i was planning on going to americade friday or sat but i havent had my wheels for a little over 2 months now. Just found out i wont have my wheels til sometime tm night so im deff not gunna make it this year. Kinda suck since it may be the last year in lake george

 

Several of us are going Friday..We are meeting @ 11 a.m. in Latham, NY @ the Mobile on the Run corner of Sparrowbush Rd & Rt 9. It's located just above the Latham circle on the left. ALL are welcome to ride up w/ us!! No route has been chosen, but we rode up last year basically on the West side of the Northway, thru Lake Luzerne...Very Beautiful Scenic Ride so maybe we will go that route again.

As for the Troopers: Nothing seen or heard this year..2 yrs ago was the worst..& last year only early in the week I think until Wed..

Lets HOPE the event stays in LG.. The organizers have several states wanting the event & if NYS continues to Bleed $$$$ from the event..it will MOVE..& that would really suck big time..

Going south in my truck on the NY thruway this morning I saw allot of bikes heading north, I was getting jealous.
