you guys are way too kind..in talkin about Bklyn Harley....
I work a few blocks down the road and lemme tell you. the workers made that place what it was.. the owners (no names mentioned) were Horrible. I mean out right ScumBags..
this last year,, it was embarrassing watching that place put Vespa's on the tarmac to suck in sales from the local yuppies. They wouldnt order parts for you unless you paid up front and even then they made you wait weeks for the items to come in...
I have a credit of over 60 dollars in that place and im not even gonna see it.. I guess 60 bucks was a good price to pay to see a "Black eye" of a dealership go away... Trust me.. HD could do without that Joke of a dealership.

I don't know the folks at Brooklyn HD so I can't judge, but this economy is sure shaking the tree. If you aren't solidly grounded in excellent customer service, you better not leave people with options or the future of your business is blurry at best. I've eaten many crap sandwiches from customers that I wouldn't have touched two years ago, but in this economy a paying customer is mostly definitely always right.

Bk Harley update.................
They didnt close, they simply stopped selling Harley's, the location is now called Bklyn Motorcycles .
Inside Intel says, they were dimed out to HD for selling Non Harley items.. they were given an ultimatum, sell Harley Products or Lose franchise.
They Lost Franchise..
Now granted, they're still doing mechanical work, they're still doing inspections, but they are not selling HD motorcycles, and they're not ordering HD parts.
They're pawning out Vespa's (ughhh i bit my tongue on that one)...
I wonder whats gonna happen to the local HOG chapter. Lotta good folks there.
Maybe they'll go to Staten Island.
