Port Jervis Ride III - Rain Date July 18th
Boys, let me be the first to throw in May 23 for PJ III. That puts us after Myrtle and before Rolling Thunder on Memorial weekend.
Sorry, I just edited this because I forgot that some people wouldn't know what we were talking about!!!
This is the third year we will be doing Port Jervis ride. Groups come together from New York and Long Island, and South Jersey and Staten Island, to meet the North Jersey group in Stanhope. From Stanhope, Tip typically takes us on an exciting tour of the local countryside and then up to Hawks Nest. After we do the required pics of the bikes over the Hudson, we all head up, usually reasonably disorganized at this point to Barryville for lunch, beers (optional) and cigars (also optional). A great time is typically had by all..
I usually meet up with the South Jersey crew about 8:30, we ride up via Canal and Pleasant Valley Way to meet up with State Island and mid Jersey guys at Williams H-D and from there, we head up to Stanhope, ShopRite and McDonalds across from Wild Wild West I believe. We've had real good turn outs - 30 or more both years I think...

Boys, let me be the first to throw in, lets pick a date for PJ III - suggestions? May 23? I can't do every other weekend, have my son so work two weeks up or down from 23 if you want to suggest date (or pick a date that I can't make it if you're sick of me). That puts us after Myrtle and before Rolling Thunder on Memorial weekend.
Did you get my response?

For the past couple of years we have gotten together as a group for a ride to the Hawks Nest which is a part of Port Jervis NY which is a scenic ride along the Delaware River which provides great scenery! We usually park along the cliffs for some great pictures and such, then afterwards pick a place to ride for a meet and greet.

Members from South Jersey, west, northern, along with members from Staten Island, Long Island and I do believe even another state or 2 all meet up in Northern Jersey for the ride.
It's like a ride within the ride.
It's usually a fun time and with any luck the weather will hold out for us!

Not at all! The more the merrier! That's how this was originally put together by nine and crew. They told 2 friends, and so on and so on....
