New York State Fraternal Order of Police Detective Russel Timoshenko Memorial Lodge #714

On Sunday July 12, 2009 come rain or shine we will be holding our first annual motorcycle run in honor of Russel.

Registration will be at the soccer field named in his memory located at Father Capodanno Blvd and Seaver Avenue in South Beach beginning at 11am and the run will start promptly at 1pm.

The course will include a brief stop at Moravian Cemetary where we will commemorate the establishment of the lodge by memorializing a framed FOP T-shirt at his grave site.

The cost will be 20.00 per bike.
This fee includes both the rider and a passenger to participate in this event with a picnic immediately following the completion of the run which will be held at the Russel Timoshenko Soccer Field.

T-shirts will be sold to commemorate the event.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will go to help benefit the lodge and future events.

Donations exceeding 100.00 will have their business or family name advertised on the back of the T-shirts being sold.

I will be there although Im not a member of the LEO Community I feel for his loss, especially his parents. Im in Staten Island and my dad who was a Fireman is buried in Moravian so i frequenly visit there. Ill have to stop at PO RT's gravesite

a bump, few days to go, looking for a huge turnout, to show everyone that Killing a Police officer is something we as bikers, humans, and good people will not put up with.

 

Just got back great run alot of bike escorted By 13 nypd motorcyles and 2 Patrol cars . Big contigent of Blue knights Nyc as well as varrious Police clubs. My 1st run was alot of fun. and happy to help keep DET.Russell Timoshenko memory alive. Had to be about 600 bikes.

Murph, exactly, it was a great time, I had a kick watching my lady jump everytime someone started their scoot, some baffleless, others with some serious hardware running under their pipe. All day she was mentioning how loud they were.
