Hey New Jersey folks. You're population has been increased by one really super young lady this weekend. I just moved my daughter down to Leonia NJ from Ma. this weekend.She's looking for work as she hasn't been able to find anything permanent up here. She has a friend that lives down there so she figured with the city so close by and maybe the economy is better down there.

She is looking for a entry level job as a college grad in Communications, either doing project planning, event coordination, anything to do with radio or TV or the media in general.

If anyone knows of any companies hiring near Leonia could you pop me a mail via my e-mail addy. srl1215@comcast.net

She's a great kid, loves to ride behind her Dad sometimes, and she's a smart kid too. Hoping you all treat her right down there.

JC HD is owned by the same guys at Essex. Heard the shop is nice not too big. They are supposed to be moving Essex County to a new location on the Parkway and rename is Garden State HD. Who knows when that will happen. JC was supposed to open around Thanksgiving.

Side note, Hootters in Wayne on Tuesday is always a good night, a lot of bikes. Also Freehold, last Thursday of the month and I belive Whiskey Cafe in Lyndhurst Saturday night was supposed to be good. just a fyi

 

oldhippie, since she is in Leonia, tell her to send her resume's to the TV and radio stations in Secaucus. The stations call names change so often i'm not sure who is called what anymore, but there are a bunch.


Yep Hooters in Wayne, and Franklin are good, then there is Thursday's at the Chatterbox starting May 3rd, yep the Whiskey is good too.
Also be a few others too, will post them when I see their new schedules.

 

mt, jc harley was supposed to open well before that!!! in typical hudson county fashion, everyone had to put their 2 cents in before it could be approved. i truly hate 90% of the people that live in my city.

anyhoo, the shop definitely isnt gigantic like the HD toy stores theyve been building,but itIS substantial. did a real nice job onthe place. nice waiting area with a couple couches and big tv, all the old school brick is exposed, did woodfloorsthroughout the place, stainless ductwork. real nice.may sound cheezy, but i like when aharley dealer looks like its supposed to look like.and he's got 17 bikes on the floor...so dont think its small, itsjust not threecity blocks big.

above all, i have absolutely no reason to go to bergen ever again, im happy

I just moved out to Pike County but I still work in Sussex County. I actually work10 min from the Chatterbox so I'm sure I'll be there alot this season (like I was the past 2 seasons, ha). I miss the Hooters in Wayne on Tuesdays, always a big crowd.

 

YOu also got Rut' Hut over in Clifton on Wed nites rite of Rt 21usually a really good turnout there.
