Got this 18 SGS a few months ago. It was a great deal. I got $4k off the sticker, I always liked the blacked out parts that now come standard on the special, but now that I’ve owned it a few months I wish it was a color. I like the bonneville white, the new industrial grey, the wicked red, the hard candy red. All of them when the are mated with the blacked out pipes and engine parts.
I only hesitate to get a 2019 in one of those colors which also upgrades to the 114 and the new infotainment, because I have already invested in so much for this bike from stage 2 to pipes, AC, tune, seat, bars, Rockford amp & speakers etc... if I went for a 19 and added all that crap to it, the diff would be appx. $8 - 10K. So I’m learning to like the black on black. Maybe down the road after I get some miles on this one and make some more payments. Until then, it’s not bad...

Black on black will never go out of fashion. Other colors come and go.

Other than its so hard to keep all this black clean with all the rain, black on black is where its at.
