Default Custom seat???

Looking for suggestions on places in central Florida that make custom seats. When I think custom, I'm thinking like a tailored suit. Fit to me and the wife, to our exact specifications. Am I wanting something that isn't offered? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

MeanCityCycles and Sinister Seats, comes to mind. I've sent 2 to MCC's and they came out great! The first 3 are my stock seat. I had them add double memory foam, narrow the seat pan and recover it. The last 2 are of a Mustang wide tripper solo. They modified that one by add a tailbone relief channel. It WAS the most uncomfortable seat I've ever owned. Now, it's great!

I have had great luck with Corbin. If the stock setup does not work for you, you can send it back and tell them what you need done. They will rework the seat to your specifications for free.

I have ordered seats from them to the specifications that I want and they have come out great.

I know what your seeking, here in Colorado we have a company that does just what your looking for - Bitchin Stichin - having gone thru the process on my last 2 bikes, I don't think you can find a better fit then finding a company that will spend the time with you and your bike and shape it based on what they are seeing and you are telling them - a little added/removed here & there goes a long way towards comfort -
Have you looked into an automotive company, maybe talk to a custom bike fabricator to find what you seek?

That's exactly what I was thinking! And no I haven't... I came straight here when I thought about having a seat tailored. I'm an over the road truck driver and actually only go home about once every month or so. And well... When I go home, that's pretty much all we do is ride. So the wife and I figured we may as well have the absolute most comfortable ride we can. But thanks for the advice on who to ask. I definitely will.

Did they do anything to the passenger pillion on the Mustang seat?

I am getting ready to send my stock seat to MCC in May for the same change you had done. How much lower did it sit you on the bike? How comfortable is the memory foam?

Day Long Saddles by Russell Industries. They use your stock seat pans and build the seats to fit you and your passenger. You send them pics of you and your passenger sitting in your riding positions, your weight, height, and inseams and they do the rest. I had our seats done 5 years ago and they are by far, the most comfortable seats I have experienced.

+1 on the Mean City Cycles. Great work. It fits so good, it's almost like I sent them a mold of my butt.

Take a ride over to the Corbin showroom in Ormond Beach, Florida. They can definately get you pointed in the right direction.

I am flat footed now. I have a 31" inseam. Much, much more comfortable! They didn't do anything to the passenger pillion of the Mustang. They actually have very good, dense foam. All I needed on my solo, was the tbrc.
