Advan Black color matched extended saddlebags

Has anyone done a direct comparison of the Arlen Ness Fender Extension with the Advanblack Fender Extension. I'm curious if they are identical. The Ness bags and fender extension seem to line up well but the stretched bags are a bit too long for my taste. I'd be interested in the Advanblack bags and Ness fender extension. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...ar-fender.html

Just received my bags, and had them pinstriped by a local guy. I wanted the factory style pinstripes for the RGU’s to match. Really happy with them so far. Lids bolted right on and bags mounted right up and lined up perfectly with no issues.

Finally got my Advan Black extended bags on. I rec'd them in Nov and finally got them back from having the factory pinstripe put on. All the help on the forum led me to the You Tube videos on adjustments away from the pipes. The color from Advan Black is a match. Not a two tone bag like the rest of the bike, but I'm good with it. I used the rubber shims to get the bags out away from the pipes and did the twist of the pipes using the rubber ratchet. (I learned it from YouTube.)
I will report back if any plastic or hardware failures. I thought long & hard on whether to buy Chinese made stuff or USA. As they were only $500, vs. more for USA made, it was the difference. It was a "bling" buy, so I can afford a $500 loss if they crap out.
2016 Ultra.
Gaps look adequate.

ya know...... 1... those bags are made of inferior materials.... they may or may not fail...... but i think what is most important here.....you guys are supporting these Chinese products to save a few bucks...... i would, and did spend more on my factory stretched bags..... cause i personally think that purchasing overseas, crap, is harmful to our economy....

I'd be more than happy to buy HD's bags if... 1) their stretched bags was straight across the bottom and not have the curve up as if comes forward, AND 2) if they weren't 2 1/2 times the price. I wouldn't even expect them to be the lowest price, but more or less in the ballpark. I would pay more, happily, if it was a reasonable difference for the quality difference, real or imagined, and for it being made here... but not $1072.00 for just the bottoms and not quite the style I wanted.
