I am right there with you Chris57. I didn't care for all the extra trim and two tone colors of the Ultra's so I opted for a Street Glide. At this point I have the HD lowers, and King tour pak with the speakers and the smoked LED light bar. I can't tell you how many times I have been told, "You should have bought an Ultra, blah blah blah". But honestly I love it and wouldn't change a thing. I have Street Glide Ultra when I want it, and a street glide when I am not traveling with my wife.

Do you want to sell your aux lights?

I'm slowly turning my street glide into a limited too. But I don't want the tour pack. Maybe it's cheaper to just get the limited and do the mirrors and fenders because I want to get the lowers and do the aux lights and so on. Might add the CB, etc.

Not at the moment. I always like to give it awhile to make sure I can really live without them. I occasionally ride at night and have played with them they do help but I don't find them game changing.

I 100% agree with this statement and would have done the exact same thing if I wanted all the bells & whistles of the UC. Bike looks killer; good job.

Thanks!

Looking at the wiring diagram the wiring harness you are making is for the headset (mic & speakers) as well as the volume and PTT controls. Is that correct?

Will this run back to plug 280A or directly to the radio? I ask because it does not appear the 280A plug has the wiring from the radio to the 280A plug.
