Default Brake Pads different colors

I just replaced all the brake pads today with 2 HD 41854-08 kits for the front. And one of the pads in one kit was a deferent color (kinda orange) from the other 3 pads (kinda green) and the rear kit 41852-08B was the same color as the other 3 pads. This is not cool if in fact the odd colored pad has a different friction. Anyone have experience with this?

I've never experienced that issue. Had it been me, I would've taken them back to the dealer and exchanged. Relatively easy for me due to my close proximity to the dealer.

Thanks I felt the same way but I couldn't stand it, had to ride it. I ordered the pads from Kutter but I'm going to talk to my local dealer about the color differences and do what ever I need to to get it right.

Called Kutter and emailed the same photo to them. They would not do anything because I had bought them in February. And the guy said he had went opened another set and they were the same way with deferent color pads. I don't believe it but that's that.
My local dealer parts a service departments said they had never ran into this. And there is only one grade of brake lining avalible.
The brakes feel good, so I'm going to run them for a while and see if there's anything noticeable with the pad or rotor wear.
