Yeah I was entertaining doing this. Is there enough light from the tail light to light the plate?

That's what I was planning to do is bend it back a little so not to have such a billboard airbrake.

This is a fix I got from another member on different post. Took a little trimming of the license plate and drill 3 holes but turned out good. Drag Specialties 2030-0625 for plate mount and Drag Specialties 2010-0773 Low profile LED lens with bottom tag window

 

Looks pretty good Brian, but pricey $$$

Does anyone know if the HD versions can be mounted inverted to hang under the light? I'm thinking this & the replacement light lens from DS might look ok.

 

The license lamp stills illuminates the plate just fine on mine. I looked at attempting to put mine in upside down as well. The stamping would have to be reworked to the point that you could make your own easier. When I get the time I'm going to attempt that instead.

Until then, what I have will suffice.
