Hello, from Missouri
New to the forum and got my New to me, Fat Bob yesterday.
Yesterday, my wife and I were at the Harley Davidson dealership checking on the Super Glide Custom that we had put some hold money on. The dealership was waiting on the paper work from Harley so we could complete the deal. While in conversation with a salesman, I shot an offer, in jest, for a 2011 Fat Bob, the bike I really wanted. To my udder disbelief, the salesman countered with a number really close to the one I said in jest. With only a little more haggling things were settled and we are now the owners of this 2011 Harely Davidson Fat Bob.
There is more to this story than us getting a new toy. When I inquired as to why the bike had only 90 miles on the odometer, I figured I would get the standard, Some one bought it, couldn't handle it, was scared of it, etc. The answer I got was more interesting, the gentleman that purchased the bike new had gotten it because he was nearing death from a sickness and had always dreamed of riding. He got to ride 90 miles.
Of course there is still more to this story and with a little investigating, I have the entire thing and could publish, I suppose. I won't though, not unless I get permission from the mans family.
In the Mean time, I'm enjoying the bike and consider it special, it has now fulfilled 2 dreams and still has less than 200 miles on that odometer.

Thanks for the welcome!
Thanks fo the welcome guys, I've been waiting to rejoin the family for a long time.
As for the rest of the story, it gets really umm, well bizarre and I'm really hoping that I get permission to do a complete write up.
For the next couple days though, I've gotta get them break-in miles done.
