New Iron 883 owner WNY
Hi everyone,
I'm from a small town about halfway in between Rochester and Buffalo. I've had my Iron for one week now. I bought it bone stock, rode it around the block once, then tore it apart and made all the modifications myself that same night. Here's a list of the mods so far:
-HD forward controls
-HD Mini Apes
-2" tank lift
-Vance and Hines short shots staggered exhaust
-Fuelpak
-Screaming Eagle stage 1 filter
I absolutely love the bike and have had nothing but positive comments from everyone. The only think left to do is have the seat redone by Mean City Cycles (thank you to several other forum members for refering them). I have my appoinment set with them at the beginning of July.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Congrats on your bike and Welcome to the forum.
To learn how to get around in here Go to the forum main page and look it over and it would really help to read the Rules and Guidelines.
There are a lot of sections and areas to address your questions and areas to learn and some for just letting off steam. Sections for each type of Bikes, Section for all kinds of Tech questions like Frames, Motors, Tires, Oils, Lights, General, and Pics areas, etc, etc, Just look it over and U will learn the ropes in here faster just by spending some time in here.
Most New member often ask the same common questions like, (What’s the) best mufflers, best seat. Best Cams, best tires, best oils, and they have been answered hundreds of times for years.
Doing a search in this forum and even Google for the easy questions will net a lot of answers usually for most of your questions. If you can’t find the answer, then Start a thread and go from there. At least U tried….
