I'm not sure what's up with the HogTravel.com website, but the pages are not loading. They may be negotiating new rates or something. The reservation codes I got back in June were for the following hotels.

I used the Choice Hotels on our trip and had very nice accomodations in Cortez, CO and Socorro, NM for about $60.00/night. I didn't shop the numbers alot, I just called and made reservations.

As for preparations, I think the following items are absolutely necessary
Leathers
Rain Gear
Helmet
Sunscreen
Lip Balm
Warm Clothes
First Aid Kit
Tool Kit

 

If any of you are considering going to this, you should reserve your rooms now. Many Hotels are already fully booked for this event.

We got them for 65.00 through Travelosity, but they went up right after I made the reservation. I would bet that they go even higher before the rally actually happens, if ther are any available at all.

We're also booked at Day's Inn from 6-29 to 7-2. By the time I booked today, the price was $81.00/night.
