Laconia

Go every year. I am about a 2 hour ridgeway down in MA. I don't camp but there are plenty of options to camp. As I a sure others will tell you the same make sure you have and bring rain gear. It will rain on you that week. It always dose. We joke and call it rain week. At any rat we still have a good time.

If you go on their web thing they list a bunch of options. They are all pretty pricy. Most average a $100 a tent per night. They are mostly all packed to. I have a friend of a friend who lives a few miles away with a huge back yard that we use. Cost us a couple quarts of Beam. When camping that week keep in mind it is going to rain, a lot.

Just a thought for you... If you want to stay away from the Laconia area, near some great riding, but still very close try the North Conway area. Whenever the wife and I go to Laconia, that where we stay. A lot less traffic in the area, but still lots of bikes and some of the best riding in the Northeast.
If this interests you, drop me a PM and I will give ya all the campground info.

Laconia:
Went there in 2008 and had a good time. Beautiful area & roads are in good shape with lots of options for a different direction to ride everyday. Ditto on the rain gear, we were in the area for 9 days & I think there was rain at least on 5 of those days. We stayed at the Broken Branch KOA in Woodstock NH about 40miles north of Laconia. Easy on/off access from Interstate & well... KOA has a good reputation of excellent camping facilities IMHO. Be prepared, rates are going to we higher than normal for camping due to the rally & it's the norm at Americade, Sturgis yeah about 100.00/night & book your campsite early, early, early. You snooze- you loose.
We usually stay away from the thick of things, sure we make an appearance & look at bikes, visit vendors, get our T-shirts & go kinda thing, because it does get busy as the week goes on. For us it all about the rides anyways & just don't want to fight traffic to get out/in of town. It's all about having a good time & ride safe.
