Default Who is Riding to Sturgis

I will soon be unemployed and going to take the time to ride to sturgis to relax. Any one else planning on going?

We're planning on it! Me on my Heritage and my dad on his Ultra Classic. Sturgis is 1200 miles from northwest TN.

I've gotta put a new tire on and change the fluids. My wife and I are in the middle of moving and trying to finish up the new house at the same time.... gonna have to pull and all-nighter to get the bike ready for the trip.

Yep, I have gone for the last 13 years, this is my 14th, about 5800 miles round trip for me. Leaving friday, will arive sunday, rent the same house each year, staying most of Aug. this year to do some good ridin after all the traffic leaves!! Ride safe and enjoy.

How many miles one way for you guys out west? Garmin says 1216 for us, 18 hours.

1177 to Hill City. i plan 2 day ride with stop each 1.5 hr and 1 hr lunch 11 hr per day with lunch

well they still have not fired me. messing up my plans. csrflstc you know the have hight restrictions on handlebars. they cannot be higher than your shoulders

I'm 6'5". If I sit up straight, my shoulders are above the bars. The state to state laws for motorcyclists don't make sence. SD has a restriction on bars but no helmet laws for riders over 18. TN has DOT helmet laws but no restiction on bar height...
