RE: Missoula Awaits Hells Angels Return
So, ok, what were the locals protesting? Just the fact that they were there? Or have no idea, Mike? Says none of those arrested were Angels. Go figure, some ppl really get their panties in a bunch, I guess.
B4 I forget, if you didn't get back to the flat track thread, you and JohnTN were correct. 1938 for Sturgis. Just so you know, buddy.
I remember the very first time I saw the Angels. I was a Junior in high school('69), Madison, SoDak. We (the FFA) were putting on a tractor pull at Prairie Village. About 20 or so motorcycles went by, did a U turn on the highway, and pulled into the place. They had never seen anything like that B4, and we had never seen them. Made for an interesting spectacle for ALL.
4 years ago, rode out thru ND to Montana with the Bond Slaves MC. We ended up at the Beartooth Rally and 212 Run. There was still snow up in the pass when we went thru. I'd like to do it again, only on a bagger next time. Rode an FX there, and I believe I'd have rather tried the chop. Me and FX's just flata$$ed do not work good together. And not sure why, just never have.
There is a link on the website, but the story is exactly the same as the one you have posted here, so nothing new in it.

Seems (and the keyword here is: "seems") the typical governmental over-reaction here, where the same population starts to protest against them, and that in any police force book is a SNAFU, whatever the causes. Unfortunately it seems that gratuitous police brutality is an everyday matter, lately.
And that's another bad sign, for it underlines a government whose control over the State is slipping.
Just my half cent.

Missoula ?????
What, are they going there to attend the fine arts festival or maybe fish the Blackfoot?
Firepower is not an issue with the citizenry of Montana. Concealed carry, my azz - loaded and ready in the rear window of most pickups. Has to be more guns per capita here than at a Mafia convention.
