Up for sale is a Harley Davidson OEM Digital Gear Indicator. Gear Indicator was used for about a year and taken off the bike when the bike was sold. This auction includes the optional aux switch which must be purchased separately when bought new...included for FREE!! (aux.switch can be removed and filled with blank plate, also included). This gear indicator is plug and play, very easy to install!! All instructions and box are included. Gear indicator mounts to right side of handlebar and replaces stock cover for a flush OEM fit. Conveniently located on the handlebar for line-of-site viewing, the bright LED display is easy to read with a quick glance. When the clutch is "out", the display indicates the current gear, or a large "N" when the transmission is in the neutral position. Easy to install, this plug & play Gear Indicator requires no wire splicing or complicated programming. A built-in photocell automatically adjusts the display for improved visibility in direct sunlight, and dims the display at night to reduce distraction. The reviews on the HD site says that when you pull clutch in, it does not show what gear are you on? Is that true...

It does not show the gear when in neutral or when you pull the clutch lever in. Other than that it is reliable, and has never shown me a gear incorrectly. When in neutral or with the clutch lever pulled it only shows a dash...
Someone pmd me and asked what the aux switch was for...it van be for whatever u want. There are two wires that come from the switch, one for 12volt and one for whatever you want to control. In my case I disassembled a garage door opener and connected the switch to that. When I pushed the switch on it activated the garage door opener...
