The reviews on the HD site says that when you pull clutch in, it does not show what gear are you on? Is that true...
Another guy says in the review as "Unreliable" as all eight segments were on..
Since you had it on your bike for almost a year..what is your take on it...

I;m interested and wanted to get a first hand opinion from a user

It does not show the gear when in neutral or when you pull the clutch lever in. Other than that it is reliable, and has never shown me a gear incorrectly. When in neutral or with the clutch lever pulled it only shows a dash...

Someone pmd me and asked what the aux switch was for...it van be for whatever u want. There are two wires that come from the switch, one for 12volt and one for whatever you want to control. In my case I disassembled a garage door opener and connected the switch to that. When I pushed the switch on it activated the garage door opener...

If this is like the new speedo with the built in tach, it determines the gear by the speed and rpm of the bike. That is why you don't see a gear at idle.

Stock or HD displays do not show gear when clutch is in.
