Craigs list baby! Minimal amount of time to invest - Anything HARLEY that I have posted has sold itself almost instantly. Be fair - be realistic - weed out the obvious BS and you should be able to get rid of a lot of what I just saw!

 

your experience is entirely different than mine. Could be because I live in SoCal, land of the FLAKE. I have had 95% of people who hit me up completely flake on me.

on this site, too. email, ask me questions, say "I'll take it" then disappear.

I do my best to be fair, but at the same time these days people are really pushing it with the bargain hunting thing. I always figured comparative ebay prices would suffice, dunno.

but anyway...my experience is that craigslist flat out sucks.

I am not set up to ship properly anymore. I could easily have stuff shipped, but since people insist on using paypal, I see no other alternative.

Back when i used to sell thousands per month in studio equipment, more than half that was people mailing me payment.

I don't steal, but these days paypal has everyone convinced that they're the only game and that anyone selling anything is a thief lying in wait.

 

Alot of thieves and dishonest folks out there these day....Of corse none on HDForums...
Best bet might be a cycle swap meet....

What there are a hell of a lot more of are flakes.

The big list aint as big anymore. Guy I was selling for decided too much hassle, and too many people wanting things for just way, way too cheap.
