Put a used set of 3/8" deepwell's out at a sale for $80, new was $250 that time. Can't count the number of idiots offered me $40 or under for them. Still have them. I'll give them to some kid before I make a low ballers day.

I have give away many parts over the years rather than be low balled by some ebay flipper. If they are not worth a fair price then give them a away. Gave away a hammock seat that had 100 miles on it after some flipped offer $100. That seat is on Dave Zien's Trike.
I spent $90 dollars shipping it to him.

LOL - Man you guys are a tough crowd....
2Dueceguy - Sorry, would have happily sold you that fixture for $200, but I sold it locally a week or so ago.
Tomahawk309 - You're absolutely right - I only came here to sell this stuff, because you're the Harley guys who might need it!!!???
- And I'm not trying to "cash in"... if you think the price is high make an offer. This stuff has some value, right? Or should I give it away for free I suppose?
TwiZtedBiker - I was pretty much spot on with your advice - and you're still giving me the gears about this? I would give it away to kid too, if I knew one that needed it.
And by the way this stuff is peanuts - if you think I'm trying to get rich on it that's kinda funny!!
I put it on the forum here because you guys are Harley enthusiasts and most of you get your hands dirty working on this stuff. If anybody wants or needs these tools it's probably you guys.
If you don't want it I'll put it in the bottom of my tool box - I might do a Harley one day. :-)

I just reread the thread. Doesn't look like you were able to sell anything? Nothing wrong with picking up something at an estate sale or flea market and trying to flip it for a few bucks. Guys are a bit jaded because we see it all the time, hence the "thinking they're sitting on a gold mine" comment.
If you didn't get any interest it's because either you didn't have anything that anyone needed or your prices were too high. Probably a bit of both because you didn't really get any offers.
My advice to you would be to list it on Ebay with a low, low asking price but set a reserve in case you don't get your price. That way you will get a true picture of what people are willing to pay. 370 million people in Canada and the US, a lot more exposure than just this forum.
Good luck with your sale!
